Donald Trump is known for collecting art – of himself. But it’s unlikely you’ll see this piece around any of his palatial homes. Made up of a pig snout and sheep eyes, the unflattering portrait of The Donald was created by British artist James Ostrer, and is currently on display at Hong Kong Art Central. Ostrer says he wanted to create an icon for the ‘megalomania’ encompassing the Republican presidential race

This is the place the Finns learn what an American manager means when he make this stock, scripted statement.

Ballmer said: ”We have no significant plans to shift around the world where work is done. We are deeply committed to Finland.”

to wit: clean out your desk. An Indian or a Bangladeshi will be sitting there tomorrow, for one quarter of your wage and none of your healthcare.

Soon the Finns will enjoy the benefits of the philosophy of American capitalism. After all, the bosses as well as the drones have the right to sleep under their desks.

Guardian. WikiLeaks cables: You ask, we search. ”Anneli Jäätteenmäki”.

Guardian. WikiLeaks cables: You ask, we search. ”Anneli Jäätteenmäki”.

WikiLeaks cables: You ask, we search

We asked last week what we should look for among the leaked US embassy cables and have since received thousands of suggestions

But we have had many good suggestions – individuals whose names or stories we may have forgotten, or people wondering what the cables say about where they live. Not every search turns up much, however. For example, Anneli Jäätteenmäki, who resigned as Finnish PM in an Iraq-related scandal, only turns up passing mentions in briefings on Finland’s politics. In cases such as these we’ve moved on and (when time allows) informed the person who made the suggestion.
