Lautakasakostaja
Pääministeri Matti Vanhanen ja eduskuntaryhmän puheenjohtaja Timo Kalli päättivät ns. Ylen lautakasapaljastuksen jälkeen, että Mikael Jungnerilla ei ole mitään mahdollisuutta jatkaa yleisradion pääjohtajana.
Kalli vaati heti eroa ja Vanhanen sivistyneemmin (kierommin) vasta uudessa nimityksessä. Mitään merkitystä ei ollut sillä, että Jungner on pärjännyt erinomaisen hyvin, työilmapiiri in innostunut, talous on saatu Wessberg-fiaskon jälkeen kuntoo, jne.
Pääjohtaja ei voi puuttua yksittäisiin ohjelniim, niinkuin herrat oikeasti tietävät, demokraattisessa yhteiskunnassa. Jos virheitä sattuu, niin kuin sattu, niistä vastataan asianomaisissa elimissä, siis viime kädessä oikeussalissa.- Siihen saakka ei varmuutta saada, jos sielläkään, väitteifden todenperäisyydestä.
Nimitys oli nyt niin poliittinen kuin vain voi olla vaikka se naamioitiin muka paremman miehen löytämiseen. Voi olla, että onkin, mutta missä yksityisessä firmassa Jungner olisi voitu sivuuttaa, sellaisessa jossa omistajien rahat ovat oikeasti liossa. Ei missään. Mutta tämä Fortun-optiojengi ja Soneran hävittäjäjengi, valtion pankin hävittäjäjengi ei tietenkään ole vastuussa mistään.
