”Mielenkiintoinen piirre on se, että vihreät ovat innokkaimpia uuden vaalijärjestelmän kannattajia, kun siinä on kolmen prosentin äänikynnys eli pienemmällä kannatuksella ei pääse eduskuntaan. Vihreä aate elää vain kymmenen kilometrin säteellä yliopistoista sekä suurten mediatalojen toimituksissa.
Äänikynnys on rakennettu sellaiseksi, että viisi pienpuoluetta – vihreät, vasemmistoliitto, ruotsalaiset, kristilliset ja perussuomalaiset – ylittävät kynnyksen eli niiden ei tarvitse pelätä uusia kilpailijoita.
Kokoomuksen apupuolueeksi vajonnut Vihreä liitto on sikäli vaarassa, että puolueen räyhäkäs huligaanisiipi saattaa kyllästyä olemaan hallituksen kesy puisto-osasto ja perustaa oman puolueen. Äänikynnys estää toisen vihreän puolueen tulon.
Perussuomalaisten tapaisessa populistipuolueessa taas on aina sen verran kylähulluja, että he voivat erota ja perustaa oman puolueen, mutta äänikynnys estää sen tehokkaasti.
Vanhan kommunistipuolueen perinnejärjestö Vasemmistoliitto on jo näivettynyt pieneksi katuhuligaanien puolueeksi, jossa marxismi-leninismin oppi on vaihtunut homoseksualismi-feminismiksi. Puolueen erityissuojeluksessa ovat myös aseistakieltäytyjät, seinäntöhrijät ja vanhakantaiset stalinistit. Jos puolue vielä kerran hajoaa, vain suurempi puoli ylittää kolmen prosentin äänikynnyksen.
Uuden lain mukaan vaaliliitot kielletään. Ilman niitä Jyrki Katainen ja Timo Soini eivät olisi päässeet eduskuntaan. Villinä sisään pyrkinyt Esko-Juhani Tennilä olisi pudonnut äänikynnyksen vuoksi.
Lähinnä vihreiden tarpeita varten tehty vaalilaki betonoi eduskunnan niin, että sadankin vuoden kuluttua meillä istuvat Arkadianmäellä nykyiset puolueet.”

Viikkosanomat lauantaina 2010-03-13 klo 22:10 kun olin etsiskelemässä pääministeri Matti Vanhasen poistamaa blogiaan Valio-maito S-kaupassa. Ei löytynyt. Löytyi tämä Laitinen ja muistikuva Hazardin kolumnista joka täytyy seuraavana tarkistaa.
Iltalehti muuten on ainoana pääkirjoituksessaan arvostellut vaalilakiehdotusta, ainoana, joka silmiin on sattunut. Helsingio Sanomat ja Ilta-sanomat kannattavat ja kirjastossa törmäsin Suomenmaan, Keskustan lehden pääkirjoitukseen, jossa puolustettiin 3 prosentin äänikynnystä, jottei puoluekenttä pirstaloituisi. Taitaa Suomen perustuslaissa lukea jotain puoluekentän pirstaloitumisesta. Tällaista kuitenkin esitetään vakavalla naamalla perusteeksi ja isännät ja emännät sekä city-keskustalaiset hurraavat näille ajattelun mestareille.
Tähän samaan syssyyn: Mediamaksu om perseestä ja niinpä kokoomuksella oli sentään poliittista viisautta tyrmätä se ennebn vaaleja. Viestintäministeri Suvi Lindén oli sentään fiksumpi kuin edeltäjänsä sdp:n Susanna Huovinen, joka järjesti Sanoma Oy:lle radiokanavan ja lopetti suositun Sävelradion. Sävelradion puoltavaan adressiin kertyi niin paljon nimiä, että pienikin osa sdp:n äänistä jäi saamatta joissakin vaalipiireissä ja niinpä sitä sitten pullahdettiin oppositioon. Ei yöjunien poikittaisliikenteen lopettaminenkaan varmaan lisää ääniä sdp:lle, viestintäministerille tuonut.
Sisäministeri Anne Holmlund ja kokoomus haukkovat vielä henkeöään kun kansalaiset pelkäävät henkensä puolesta tässä aluehätäkeskusten ja paikallistuntemuksen karsimisessa. Tässä kyllä tietenkin toivoisi, ettei mitää kamalaa sattuisi, mutta yhden kortin varassa se on. Onnettomuuksia sattuu ja seuraukset avaunsaannin sählingissä voivat olla kohtalokkaita. niin raadollista kuin se onkin tällaisetkin asiat otetaan esille vaalitaistelussa.
